This subject will provide an opportunity for students to make themselves familiar with the management of soil on farm for better crop production. It will also create awareness about problematic soils, soil and water pollution and Integrated Plant Nutrition System

Importance of Soil, Problematic Soils and their Reclamation, Soil and Water Pollution, Quality of Irrigation Water, Use of Saline Water for Irrigation, Soil Fertility Evaluation & Soil Testing, Plant Analysis Methods, Fertilizer Recommendation, Nutrient use Efficiency, Nutrient Scheduling.
